What is typically part of a Comprehensive Eye Exam?

Everyone deserves to see the sun shining, the water sparkling, and the birds flying overhead.  More and more, science and research is discovering how much more tuned in our eyes are to our overall health.  Routine eye exams and vision evaluations play a pivotal role in keeping our eyes healthy, but also can provide warning signs concerning possible problems down the road.

Latest in Vision Diagnostic Technology

At Lux Vision Care, we're committed to providing you and your family with the most comprehensive eye exam using the latest in visual diagnostic technology. It is a colorful world, shouldn't you see it clearly?

Eye Care Professionals

We know that when it comes to eye exams, you want an eye doctor that knows the technology, knows the research, and is able to properly evaluate the results and diagnostic information to best assess any problems or potential problems accurately and provide the best optometric advice possible.

Exams, Assessments, and Evaluations

Our eye exams are more than just a visual acuity test; we will determine the scope and evaluations needed for each patient, which will help us get a clear picture of your eye health. We'll check for color blindness, do a cover test and ocular motility test for any problems with eye movement, and check for stereopsis (depth perception). We'll examine your retina with a retinoscopy or autorefractor, and use an aberrometer to measure optical aberrations in your cornea.

We'll also look at your eyes using a slit lamp exam, give you a glaucoma test, dilate your pupils, and perform a visual field test—and may order, if necessary, an Optomap Retinal Exam.

Our goal is to provide you with the most advanced family vision center in the area and provide the highest level of care to your and your loved ones.
